Ordering & Shipping
Q: How do I place an order?
A: Simply order the services you need online, bring them in, or call. Or if you prefer not to place your order online, you may print and fill out an order form. Clearly label all your media that you are sending in and clearly tell us what you want to happen. All materials must be numbered in the order to be transferred. Please include your phone number and email so we may reach you with any quesitons.
Q: Where do I send my videotapes, slides, photos, films, etc?

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Personal/Business checks. All funds must be in US currency.
Q: Do I get back my original materials?
A: Yes, all original materials submitted will be returned to you.
Q: How should I ship my original material?
A: We recommend that you use a reliable shipping service with tracking and insurance such as FedEx or UPS. Please note that our default return shipping method is UPS with $100 insurance unless you specify otherwise. We only ship to U.S. addresses.

Q: How long have you been in business?
A: The Video Editor has been in business in Newport Beach, California for nearly 20 years, thanks to customers like you.
Q: May I call or email you my special requests for my project?
A: The Video Editor encourages communication. Please call or email us with any and all questions or directions. Please include both email and phone number for us to stay in touch with you!
Q: What is the normal turnaround time for services?
A: To keep our prices low we have a system designed to complete orders in appox. 3 weeks or less, quicker service may be available, take note when ordering.
Q: Can I transfer copyrighted material?
A: We only transfer home videos, films, prints, and 35mm slides made by the customer. If you don't own the copyright it is illegal for us to make transfers. We also do not transfer adult or obscene materials.
